Our Story
About
APC
A community-first paintball organization built to grow the sport in Alabama and the Southeast — one event, one player, one friendship at a time.
Who We Are
Not a Business.
A Community.
Alabama Paintball Club is not a corporate paintball business. It's not a tournament-only team. It's not a rental field. It's a community hub — a place where players feel like they belong.
APC brings players together from across the state for organized, affordable, and action-packed paintball events. There's no mandatory membership — players can simply pay per event and join the fun whenever they want.
APC Members who pay monthly dues receive free entry to regular APC events. But whether you're a member or just showing up for the first time — you're welcome here.
This IS APC
This is NOT APC
Core Philosophy
Built on Three Pillars
Community First
Family-friendly and welcoming to all skill levels. No ego, no cliques. Whether you've never held a marker or you've been playing for 20 years — you belong here.
Consistency
Regular scheduled events with a familiar structure players can rely on. A predictable, quality experience is what turns a first-timer into a regular.
Growth
Long-term player retention, proper introduction to the sport, and building confidence and skill over time. APC is a system — not just a series of events.
The Culture
Intentional.
Not Accidental.
APC's culture didn't happen by accident. It was built on purpose — welcoming without being soft, organized without being rigid, competitive without being toxic.
The philosophy is simple: better players are built through repetition, fundamentals, and exposure — not just isolated team practice. APC gives players the reps they need to actually improve.
Every player, every skill level — treated the same.
Leave the attitude at the gate. Fun is the priority.
Experienced players help newcomers. That's the APC way.
No closed groups. Everyone's part of the same crew.
Retention comes from people having a great time.
Real players, real stories — no manufactured hype.

The Founder
Chris Powers
Founder & Head — Alabama Paintball Club
Chris Powers built Alabama Paintball Club from the ground up — not as a business venture, but as a mission to give Alabama paintball players the community they deserved.
Seeing a region underserved by organized paintball, Chris set out to change that. The result is APC: a growing, passionate community that spans multiple cities, draws players from neighboring states, and keeps 75% of players coming back event after event.
His vision is simple — make Alabama a place where paintball thrives, where new players are welcomed, and where the sport grows for generations to come.

Our Home Team
APC
Savages
The APC Savages are Alabama Paintball Club's home 10-man mechanical paintball team. They represent APC on the field and set the standard for competitive play within the club.
Beyond APC's regular events, the Savages travel across the Southeast as a team — hitting scenario games at fields and events throughout the region. If there's a big game happening in the Southeast, there's a good chance the Savages are rolling in.
Mechanical paintball, team play, and a whole lot of Alabama pride — that's the Savages.
The Savages don't just stay home. They pack up and travel to big scenario games across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and beyond — representing APC wherever the action is.
